Sentosa Cove Living Lifestyle: Comfort and Luxury at One Stop

Singapore is a complete city with a fusion of traditional and modern lifestyle. Although it is just a small city in the Malay Peninsula in south-east Asia, it boasts a number of world-class tourist spots and a well-defined urban lifestyle. Entry to this awesome city is through the Changi Airport which is considered as one of the busiest airports in Asia.

Singapore lifestyle is fast-paced and highly modernized. Most residents are living in residential buildings as well as condominiums where amenities and facilities are complete. At the eastern coast of Sentosa Island lies a tranquil residential community called the Sentosa Cove.

The Sentosa Cove offers the best of modern lifestyle with a mixture of tropical atmosphere. This tropical resort is just a few minutes away from the busy mainland Singapore.

A Brief History of the Sentosa Cove

The Sentosa Cove was first conceptualized by Bernard Spoerry. He was the one who designed France’s Port Grimaud. Later, the Sentosa Cove master plan was restructured into a modernized community with a touch of natural tropical environment. Hence, Sentosa Cove Living is just equivalent to living in a resort. This plan was further developed by Australian Architects from McKerell Lynch and Klages and American Architects Carter and Vail. As a whole, the Sentosa Cove Living is about living contemporary lifestyle in tropical environment.

Sentosa Cove Residential Community

The Sentosa Cove has two main parts which are the North Cove and South Cove. Part of the masterplan is the rising of a commercial area in between the two coves which is the Marina Village. The Marina Village comprises a marina and hotel. Each of the two coves is made of Sentosa Cove Condo units and Sentosa Cove landed properties designed to either face the open sea or artificially-created waterways. Either of the two coves is equipped with modern facilities fit for the career individual or family.

The North Cove

This area comprises 1,528 residential units divided into the following: 1,284 condominium units (The Azure, The Berth by the Cove, The Coast @ Sentosa Cove, The Oceanfront @ Sentosa), 214 bungalows and 30 terraced houses. There are three man-made islands in this spot namely Ocean Drive, Lakeshore View, Treasure Island, Paradise Island and Coral Island. The surrounding area is enclosed with artificial marina and reclaimed land.

The South Cove

After the success of sold units at the North Cove, the South Cove came about in 2006. The South Cove comprise of 816 condominium units (Seven Palms, Seascape, The Marina Collection, Turquoise, Cape Royale) which are also intended to achieve a successful sale. In uniform with the North Cove, the South Cove also offers two artificial islands which are the Cove Grove, Cove Way, Cove Drive, Sandy IslandPearl Island. When it comes to unit rates, the South Cove will incur a higher price since the area will provide better views of the sea.
